Failure to start on OS X 10.6.4 with X already running
« on: September 05, 2010, 11:42:26 pm »
I just found out in another thread, that brief modes works, if you disable the X11 key bindings, so now I need to figure out how to get it running, and buy a new license.   I get a bouncing icon for what seems like forever, and never starts up.  I have tried to cd to /Applications/SlickEditV1501.app and looked for the binary so I could start it from the command line and see what the error was, but I have not found it.  Any help would be appreciated.

Are you saying that it does start up when X is not already running?

You can launch it from the command line like this:

Code: [Select]
/Applications/SlickEditV1501.app/Contents/MacOS/vs
