I have noticed that my locale is different in secsh than it is in other shells. In tcsh, locale reports:
LANG=en_NZ.utf8
LC_CTYPE="en_NZ.utf8"
LC_NUMERIC="en_NZ.utf8"
LC_TIME="en_NZ.utf8"
LC_COLLATE="en_NZ.utf8"
LC_MONETARY="en_NZ.utf8"
LC_MESSAGES="en_NZ.utf8"
LC_PAPER="en_NZ.utf8"
LC_NAME="en_NZ.utf8"
LC_ADDRESS="en_NZ.utf8"
LC_TELEPHONE="en_NZ.utf8"
LC_MEASUREMENT="en_NZ.utf8"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_NZ.utf8"
whereas in secsh:
LANG=en_NZ
LC_CTYPE="en_NZ"
LC_NUMERIC="en_NZ"
LC_TIME="en_NZ"
LC_COLLATE="en_NZ"
LC_MONETARY="en_NZ"
LC_MESSAGES="en_NZ"
LC_PAPER="en_NZ"
LC_NAME="en_NZ"
LC_ADDRESS="en_NZ"
LC_TELEPHONE="en_NZ"
LC_MEASUREMENT="en_NZ"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_NZ"
Any ideas, or should I just set def_build_shell to tcsh?
Cheers
Rick
