Trying to paste tab sepparated file in excel.
« on: September 27, 2010, 04:28:34 pm »
Hi everyone

I don't know what characters slickedit uses for tabs.. but I am unable
to copy paste some tab sepparated data from it to excel such that it
assigns each tab sepparated value a column. I can do this with regular
notepad. What do I need to change so that Slickedit allows me to do this.

Ted.

Either:
1.  Turn off the RTF/HTML formatted clipboard in SE, or
2.  Use the Paste Special command in Excel and choose the Text or Unicode Text format.
