How to open Mono/VS2008 project in ubuntu

Hi all,

I was under the impression that I could open a Windows VS2008 C# project in Linux with SE but every time I attempt to I get a SlickEdit error and a stack trace window appears.
I have mono installed, and I am able to edit, compile and run the project with MonoDevelop, but I'm quite comfortable with SE now and would like to continue using it.
SE doesn't even seem to pick-up that mono is installed in the system as I cannot tag the compiler as I can under Windows.
Any ideas?

I just tried this and got a stack as well.  Mine throws an error that says "Procedure -ntRegQueryValue not found file=wkspace.ex offset=26361."  Does that match yours? 

I'll look into this and see what I can find.

Yes, I can't remember the exact offset but that was the error I received too. I'm using v16 if that helps.
Would an older version of SE open the solution and run them fine?

If you have an older version lying around, then it might work.  I was able to open a Visual Studio sln on v15.0.1. 

I will be adding a fix for this problem into the cumulative hot fix, which should be updated sometime this afternoon.  At that point, you'll be able to open them up on v16, too.  I'll update this thread when the hot fix is updated.
