I am using rev 16.0.3.0 (64-bit) and I have set my left margin at 0.4, a little wider than the default. But as I edit files, the margin width sometimes shrinks unexpectedly. I think it might happen whenever an icon appears in the margin, where it seems the margin width shrinks to the size of the icon. For example, if I double click in the left margin, the Enabled Breakpoint icon appears and the margin shrinks. If I then double click that icon, it removes the icon and restores the margin to my desired with. But many times I find the margin has shrunk and there are no icons nor any activity that I know of to cause it.
Is there anything I can do to just keep a constant margin width?
