How to clear the references highlight?
« on: December 19, 2006, 02:30:01 am »
I enabled "Highlight references in editor". Looks good while finding references but when I start coding, I found I can't clear the highlights :(, seems the "clear-highlights" does not work with references highlight.

Btw: Seems the backup history form can not keeps the version highlight after returning from Diff. I often forgot what version I just compared. Seems the tbdeltasave.e missed a "ctltree1._TreeSelectLine(index);" at Line 445 after the "ctltree1._set_focus();" line. I think it is a small bug.

Here's an easier way.  When you do "go to reference", the editor pushes a bookmark.  When you hit Ctrl+, (pop-bookmark), to get back to where you started, the highlighted references will be cleared.

Thanks, but I wrote a command to clear all the highlights including the references :).

Example:
Clear all highlights:
Code: [Select]
clear-highlights-plus -find -ref
Clear reference highlights only:
Code: [Select]
clear-highlights-plus -ref
