Using a named license from work at home?
« on: March 21, 2012, 04:26:11 pm »
My employer bought me a named license for SlickEdit. May I use the license both at work and at home on my personal computer?

I think the license agreement is very clear on this:

Quote
(1) Named User License. Software provided to You under this option may only be installed on any computer owned or controlled by You, but in no event shall the Software be (i) used by any person other than You and (ii) used on more than one computer at the same time.

Yes, you may use it on ANY computer owned or controlled by you -- but it must be used ONLY by YOU and ONLY on ONE computer at a time. :)

Install it and use it!  Just don't give it to anyone else to use.
