"Remove all deleted files without prompting" does not work
« on: January 05, 2007, 06:52:38 PM »
When I rebuild a tag file, there is an option labeled "Remove all deleted files without prompting".  When checkmarked, SlickEdit is supposed to remove the deleted files from the project during the tag file rebuild.

Well, it just doesn't work any more.  It's that simple - it doesn't matter if that checkbox is checked, SlickEdit acts as if it isn't.  If I don't checkmark it, I get prompted for each deleted file.  Even if I say "Yes" or "Yes to all", Slickedit will NOT delete them from the project.

IIRC Slick is just removing these files from the tagfile and not from your workspace/project ...
Maybe it's helpful if there would be an option to 'remove files also from workspace' when manually rebuilding the workspace tagfile.

Sorry, I was wrong :(
Tested out of curiosity and it's working properly here (SE v11.02 + incl. all hotfixes @ WXP-SP2).
