SE highlights the physical line, not logical line
« on: June 20, 2012, 02:53:46 AM »
When there's a very long line in a buffer, SE wraps it on the screen such that it takes multiple lines. My coloring scheme highlights the line the cursor is currently on. SE highlights the physical line rather than the logical line, so the highlighting doesn't indicate how long the line is. Is this a feature or a bug? I'd expect the logical line to be highlighted.

This is intentional.  The purpose of the feature is to help locate the cursor. Lines can wrap more than the entire screen making coloring the entire line useless.
