Blank info box stuck on screen
« on: June 20, 2012, 01:44:17 PM »
The box that shows variable information when you hover over it with the mouse is stuck on my screen.  It showed some variable info and then the box cleared and won't go away.  It appears over all other windows and doesn't move even when the SE window is moved.  Only closing SE makes the box go away.

What version of slickedit and what O.S?
Is it repeatable?
Does the box go away if you hover over another variable?

Is it repeatable?  It doesn't happen to me with V17 Win7.
How often does it happen?
Can you suggest how to reproduce?

It happened once but so far I haven't seen it since.

I don't know how to reproduce it.  Seems to me I had clicked the variable and then tried to change it.

Had you got a Slick-C stack?  I'm wondering if a timer died and it left it there.

No, but if you tell me how to get it, I'll get one the next time it happens.

You would see it.  You would see a message box that the interpreter had stopped and a tool window with the Slick-C stack.

Nothing like that popped up when it happened.

OK.  It could have happened earlier in the editor session, and then a timer was not running that would have closed it, but it doesn't sound like this was the case.
