On Ubuntu64, 2 out of the 3 buttons just launch a bash shell?

These buttons just run simple commands which launch different Android tools.  The commands will locate the Android SDK and then launch the appropriate tool.  I'm assuming you have an Android project open in SlickEdit...is there an SDK specified in the local.properties file for the project?  Or is it listed at Build > Java Options > Android?  Can you tell me where it is located and what platforms you have installed under it?

Does whatever the 3rd button is actually launch the appropriate tool?  If so, which one is it?

I had created a new Android project using New ... -> Java - Android Application

local.properties and build->java options->android both point at the same folder
(I installed the Android Tegra pack from the Nvidia website, and Eclipse works fine)

the 3rd button "Launch DDMS" works and does launch the Dalvik Debug Monitor
but the other 2 buttons "Launch Android Virtual Device Manager" and "Launch Android SDK Manager" just open bash shells?

Yea...that's a bug.  If you save the attached version of android.e and load it into SlickEdit via Macro > Load Module, those buttons should then work.  I'm not sure if this will make it into the official 17.0.2 build, but if not then it will be in the first official hotfix for 17.0.2.

Thanks for the report.

No problem, thanks for checking out our Android support...and the fix did make it into 17.0.2 so no hotfix is necessary for this.
