New user hitting lots of issues with SlickEdit

Hi Dennis,

It's been a while. Just wanted to drop a note and say that ever since I moved to 17.0.3.0, things got much better with the UI lock-ups. However, I still see them, especially when I move focus to another window and then come back to SE. It will stall for about 5 seconds (enough for Windows to think the app is unresponsive) and then it will work again. Better than the multi-second stalls from before, but still happening. Not as annoying as before, but still annoying.

Let me know if there's anything I can do to help you diagnose the remaining issues.

Try this, maybe helps: Tools -> Options -> Editing -> Context Tagging:
change "Update workspace tag file on activate" = OFF (in "Background updating of tag files" section).
