can't save C formating options
« on: April 18, 2013, 02:42:36 pm »
I'm running SlickEdit 2011 (v16.0.3.0 32-bit) and I can't
get the Indentation options I set in Tools/options/application languages/
C/C++/Formatting/Indentation to stay after I exit and restart VSlick.
I have this issue on both the Windows and Linux version.

I have Slick ask me to save the options and I'm saying yes.  I've also
tried running "save-config" manually to no avail.

This is very easy for me to reproduce.  I just open slickedit without
a project go select my options (specifically "ident case from switch" and
"no space before parenthesis"), click "Apply", click "Ok" and then File/exit
and clicking Yes to the "Save configuration?" Dialog.  I restart VSlick and
the options are back to off.

I've tried deleting my vslick.sta file, that didn't help.

Any help would be most appreciated!

I've been using Vslick since version 3.0... I feel
like my fingers have been cut off when I try to use
anything else.

Well answering my own question...  I use a macro to setup Slickedit
which I thought was a batch macro, but it wasn't.  My configuration
macro was clobbering the saved value.  Opps.

The culprit was
---
   replace_def_data("def-options-c",'3 1 1 0 1060 1 1 0 0');
