I'm not using it, but I thought that usage data for features of that kind would be answered by the product's instrumentation (in so far as customers allow it to be sent back to HQ)? In any case, if there's no compelling case to eliminate the feature (e.g. implementation standing in the way of newer features), why eliminate it?

The question is whether or not to move CVS under the umbrella of the new version control framework.
