Dragging file tabs between tab groups?
« on: May 10, 2013, 06:13:05 AM »
Rather than right clicking on each file tab and cycling it to the next tab group and repeating until its preferred tab group is found, can we:
1. Drag the tab to another tab group?
2. Assign configurable hot keys to move tab group to left/right/up/down tab groups?
3. Drag the tab outside of the application frame to open the file in it's own window?

1 & 3 will be implemented in a future beta. 2 has already been done but only for next and previous (cant remember command names). It would be pretty easy to implement move left/right/up/down too. Come to think of it, we probably should have done this in the first place. Even the menus could have these commands. I'll talk to the dev team about this.

Thanks

#2 will be supported in the next beta (Move to Tab Group above/below/left/right).

Thank you for the update Clark.
