Opening menu takes more time in big projects

With b3, I noticed that opening menus takes more time with large project. It happened before, in v13:

Eventually, the solution to the problem was to set def_show_makefile_target_menu to 2. Another proposed solution was to set def_max_makefile_menu to 15 or 20. I am wondering if anything has changed in v18.
Thanks,
Alex

Yes, it's possible. I noticed that the cursor moves slowly in this project.
Do you want the project and my .slickedit?
Alex.

Changing def_max_makefile_menu will definitely have the greatest effect. V18 should not be any slower than v17 though. Have you tried v17 and checked what def_max_makefile_menu is set to?
