Beta 4 bug: Perforce check out fails from Open tool window

For the bug tracker:

I just installed Beta 4 on Linux, 64-bit, Ubuntu 12.04.  I've set up the version control for Perforce, and verified that it works when operations are invoked from the Tools -> Version Control menu.  However, if I right-click on a file in the Open tool window, then the Output window simply clears, and nothing gets checked out.

This is fixed for the next beta.  It was running the command for update, which seemed to make sense at the time this was written.  Now it runs "p4 edit" for Perforce, and will run the edit command if a version control system has one.

I am fixing a bug with checkin from the same menu, it prompts for the comment twice.
