When modifying a file, the filename on the File Tab has always changed to red to show that it was modified.
This is no longer working in this Beta.
I verified that the setting is to do this in Options > Appearance > Colors > Application colors > Modified file

It's at Tools > Options > Editing > Editor Windows > Color modified document tabs.

OK, it was off and I turned it on, but still no change in file name color.

SE seems to do a good job of porting settings from previous versions, but I see this is a new setting (at least at this location), so I guess you decided the default would be OFF.

Edit: Ah, after restarting B4, now it works, so some state is not being changed until restart.
