How to merge tab groups with multiple tabs
« on: May 29, 2013, 07:22:15 PM »
Hi:

Sometimes I work with 2 different horizontal tab groups, and each tab group has multiple tabs in it.

After a while, I want to switch back to one tab group.

Is there any way to merge all the tabs together in 1 tab group with just a few clicks?

Right now, it seems I have to go to each tab and do "Move to tab group above".  It is a little tedious.

Thanks,
Rob

Right now there's not an operation for it. There will be. In the meantime, with Beta 5 you can...
1. Invoke context menu "Float All" which will float all the tabs in the group
2. In the newly-floating group invoke context menu "Move All to Main Document Group"

Try "untile" (window>untile)

Window->Untile works!  I used beta5.  Thanks!
