Could not request Slickedit Core trial license
« on: November 07, 2012, 08:08:51 AM »
Tried installing Slickedit Core on Eclipse 3.7.2 (linux).
Followed everything as instructed on your web page. When I try to get a trial license, an error message on the web said:
A newer version of this product has been released. Please download and install our current product before requesting a trial license.

Hi Prohiki,

I just requested a trial license from a Linux box and the website e-mailed me the license as expected.  Are you having the exact same issue as the OP in this thread from almost a year ago?  Or are you having a different licensing issue?  If the web page is giving you an error, can you copy/paste me the URL that is shown in the Request a Trial License dialog?  I'll take a look to see if something is mangled.

Also I had tech support send you a trial license...so you should have that in your inbox.

Thanks,

Ryan
