B6: File Tab tabs change shape
« on: June 03, 2013, 01:56:03 PM »
Are there two different file tab shapes for some reason?
When I started using B6, the file tabs were sloped on the ends and overlapping each other.
When I did Zoom Toggle and then did View > Tool Windows > File Tabs, they had non-overlapping, squared ends.

I chose this option because I couldn't find Zoom Toggle when right-clicking in the Window. I later found it under the Window menu and this method results in getting the sloped/overlapping tabs.

They are different shapes because they are two different controls. The "rounded/sloped" ones are the new tabs that we are drawing (mostly) the same on every platform. The older File Tabs tool window is using a tab-bar control, and that tab style is distinct for each operating system.

OK. I assume that the old style will be removed, but obviously, not a big deal.
Thanks
