Thanks for the continued testing and feature suggestions. We're tamping down changes for the final release, so we'll be primarily focused on bug fixes. But we still want your feature ideas for upcoming releases. We are continuing to refine the appearance and behaviors of the document tabs.
Beta 7 Changes from the Release NotesNew MDI Architecture - Document Tab colors are now configurable. Settings are in the Options dialog under the Appearance > Colors > Application colors section.
- The abbreviated caption options are now implemented for the new style document tabs
- Enhanced the appearance of document tabs for duplicate windows, so that a :1 or :2 etc suffix will be shown when you split an editor window
Version Control - The new History Diff dialog now works with Git and Mercurial
General - Vi/Vim emulation has been re-tooled internally to inherit base functionality from the CUA emulation. The behavior of Vi/Vim-specific key bindings
is not affected, but more CUA commands are now available when in Insert Mode - The default binding for Command+M in the Mac and XCode emulations has been changed to iconize-mdi
