Window->Untile does not preserve the active window

Sometimes I'm operating with 2 horizontal tiles in MDI, and I want to go back to one tile, so I use Window->Untile.

I notice that when I do this, the active editor window will change.

I would like it that the active editor window remains the same after Window->Untile. 

It is disruptive to the workflow to change it.
