Mac Full Screen?
« on: June 26, 2013, 03:34:25 PM »
Hello,

I just installed SlickEdit 2013 on my Mac (Mountain Lion 10.8.4) and I noticed that the full screen arrows are not present on the top right corner of the window.  I saw that they were there in the video demonstrating the new MDI functionality.  Is not having it intentional? Is it a bug?

Update:  Once I quit SlickEdit and relaunched it, the full screen arrows came back.  This seems to be an issue that occurs upon first launch after install.

Thanks,
Rob

This can happen if some sort of modal window (like the Quick Start dialog or a message box) is shown when SE first launches. There's some pretty tricky timing getting that main window style flag set up, and modal dialogs on startup mess up the event timing.
