Deleteing a file from Diff will not change the file icon to show it was deleted

This used to work with prior versions. To replicate, open the diff with two folders and delete a file using the delete key. The file is deleted however the icon still shows as it is there (used to have a x on the icon).

I'm using 18.0.1.2 (64)
