Mac Users: SlickEdit v18.0.2 Now Available
« on: November 21, 2013, 03:14:02 pm »
The SlickEdit 2013 performance update for Mac is now available
To download the update, please log into your customer account page, and locate the download link under the "Registered Products" section. You do not need a new license file for this version.

Do I Need This Update?
If you are running on a OS X 10.7 or earlier system, then there is little benefit for you in this update. This build addresses performance issues that were first seen in OS X 10.8 and reached nearly unusable levels in OS X 10.9. There is also a fix for handling a start-up crash that 2 users have seen with some non-Apple external keyboards.

Please Install Hotfixes
This build is on the same hotfix cycle as the previous 18.0.1 releases. That simply means that we will release hot fixes for 18.0.1 and 18.0.2 at the same time and with the same content. Please visit https://www.slickedit.com/support/product-updates/hotfixes and download the current hotfix package. You'll see the separate link for the Mac build.

Note: For a short period of time an 'alpha' build of these changes was made available to some customers. Those builds were version 18.0.2.1 and 18.0.2.2. This build is 18.0.2.3, and should be used to replace any previous installations.
