Launching the debugger prompts for a license
« on: January 27, 2014, 05:09:54 pm »
One of our users is trying to use the debugging feature in Slick Edit 2013 but it seems to launch a new instance of Slick Edit and then complain there isn't a license available. We are using a license server but only have one license for 2013. Any ideas why it is requesting another license?

Which language are you debugging? And what platform are you running SlickEdit on?  The license server normally allows for multiple instances on the same machine, I might need you to open a case through support to get all the info to diagnose the problem.

Thanks for the reply. According to my user "I’m trying to debug the Slick macros". It is installed on Windows 7. I've attached a screen shot of the message.

That should not happen with a concurrent license.  You need to open a support case, there may be an issue with license you were issued or some issue with server or server configuration.
