Ok -- yeah, I know VSE already does this -- what I'm looking for (at least on the Windoze version) is a version that does not open two modal windows within the larger document window (where the menus are, etc) but does something much more like what MS Word does when you just drag down the top 'line' of the window border and it splits the file into two visual areas with nothing but a line consisting of a few pixels in thickness -- not an entire window border.. With the current scheme, that window border is taking up (at least on my XP installation) somewhere between 2-3 lines where text could be and I find it rather distracting to look at.. I really like how MS Word does it and would hope that VSE could do something similar -- please?
