Title: "DIFF" file option only opens in Read_Only mode
Post by: un_ave on July 09, 2013, 09:23:46 PM
Hi all,
I'm running version: 15.0.1.3 and am having trouble when diff'ing two files. One of the files is opened as "read_only" when using the 'diff' option. I used to be able to manually merge changes from one file to the other using the split screen diff feature, but the file that I want to alter is loaded as read_only and I can't find the option to change.

Anybody seen that before or know how I can allow all files to be loaded in write-able mode?

Thanks in advance

When something is read-only in the editor it will be forced to read-only in diff.  You can change it's read-only status by clicking on the indicator at the bottom of the editor before you diff it.
