I'm not sure what's going on here.  I'll take a look at it.

SlickEdit 2022 v27 Beta Discussion / _tree_view and Ctrl+Click
« Last post by jporkkahtc on August 09, 2022, 10:18:57 pm »
I used to be able to select a file, then Ctrl+Click a 2nd file in the "files" tool.
Now with V27 Ctrl+Click doesn't select the 2nd file, but does move the selection cursor.

I can only select the 2nd file with Click, then Ctrl+Triple Click.

What happened?

Also, why are there no Modifier + MouseClick events?
Ctrl+LButton_Up for instance.

list.lbutton_down() and list.lbutton_up() aren't called when the CTRL key is also pressed.

SlickEdit® / How do I turn off pop-up hex/decimal/etc conversions?
« Last post by jnairb on August 09, 2022, 09:06:53 pm »
I've searched but haven't found how to disable this pop-up. I found something that said it's under language options. If that's the case, I don't see it. For now, I'd like to turn it off for plain text files or for all file types.

I'm currently running SlickEdit 2021.

Thanks.

SlickEdit 2022 v27 Beta Discussion / Re: Crash
« Last post by Dennis on August 09, 2022, 03:04:34 pm »
If you attach Visual Studio to the SlickEdit process before it crashes, it will usually catch the exception, and then you can collect the mini-dump.  Usually the sort of crash where the editor "just goes away" is a stack overflow.

There is a known crash in Beta1 editing XML files.  This will be fixed in Beta2, needless to say.

1. Right click can not work.
2. "Jump on sigle click" can not work.

SlickEdit 2022 v27 Beta Discussion / Re: Cannot Ctrl-click in "Files/Buffers"
« Last post by Dan on August 09, 2022, 02:10:26 pm »
There is an issue with Ctrl+Click here, but Shift+Click can be used as a workaround.  I'll look into this.

SlickEdit 2022 v27 Beta Discussion / Cannot Ctrl-click in "Files/Buffers"
« Last post by PiezonTM on August 09, 2022, 02:07:47 pm »
Unable to select more than one file unless you use the shift-click. The ctrl-click does not allow you to select more than one file.

Just tried again and found it sometimes selects a file if I click enough

Windows, Linux or macOS?

We just added some notes on collecting a mini-dump to our FAQ here on the forums.  Collecting core dumps and traces on macOS are easy, but I can provide you with some notes if necessary.
