Ctrl+E is a really common shortcut in Windows for global search.
Ctrl+F is a local scope search, and Ctrl+E is a bigger search. (Try onenote, chrome, etc).

Anyways, goto Tools->Options.
Type Ctrl+E or Ctrl+F and then Buffer ---
     <Ctrl+F>Buffer

And, you get *nothing*...

The search box in tools option has the very weird feature that it allows you to enter control characters!
It should not.

Also, Ctrl+PgUp and Ctrl+PgDown really ought to move up and down thru the contents pane on the left.
