SlickEdit® / se crashing more and more often : can some 'cache' files cleanup help ?

Hello,
I am using se pro 26.0.3.1 x64 (windows 10).
Since several weeks se is crashing more and more, usually when I copy, paste or move-lines-up/down a selection of lines.
It used to occur once or twice a month, it is now 5 times a day.
I was wondering if I could improve the situation by cleaning some internal files used by se.
If you have any idea, please tell me.

SlickEdit® / Q: How can i set that search should ALWAYS default to Current Buffer?

Hi,

I find it extremely annoying that search (and replace) usually defaults to "Current Selection".
How can i set it to ALWAYS default to "Current Buffer"?
I can not find this option in options. See images.

I added a hot fix for a performance problem having to do with mousing over a long line. This performance problem won't happen with any long line but with the right long line it will happen every time.

Try a clean config:

Windows: vs -sc c:\temp\tempconfig

Unix,macOS: vs -sc /tmp/tempconfig

Do you get this with a clean config?

If not, it's probably something in user.cfg.xml or vrestore.slk/vrestore.xml

If you you got two receipts for maintenance in the same maintenance year, that would work too.

Hi,

In my "Plain Text" files the word "Mailbox" gets color coded.
It is not in any symbol list or token that I can find a reference to.
Where can this color coding originate from?

Does the amount you paid in 2022 (or prior receipt) indicate that you paid for additional maintenance years?

As far as I can see, the reciept doesn't tell how long the maintanence contract was good for. I tried to keep it paid a few years in advance so I'd still have it if I ran into a period where I was having financial problems again. The last reciept I have was for 2022, but I am certain that 2023 was not the last year of maintanence. Unfortunatly, I didn't take a screenshot of the state of my account information before the website was changed.

Sorry I am just checking on this. So, my maintenance was paid though 2026. Does that mean I lose it?

Keep your receipts. You can use your receipts to get free upgrades for 2024 and after.
