Title: crash in windows 21.0.0.12
Post by: rowbearto on October 31, 2016, 08:38:23 PM
I got a crash in 21.0.0.12.

I tried uploading the crash dump file to support.slickedit.com, but it keeps telling me "MOVE UPLOADED FILE FAILED!". The 7zipped file is 100MBytes. I will try sending again.

It keeps failing to upload to support.slickedit.com. I tried using case number "14420", and still got an error that "MOVE UPLOADED FILE FAILED!". Please give me another way to upload. Email will not work because the file is 100MByte even after 7zipped.

Looking into this now. We'll let you know when you can upload.

Hi:

I sent the crashdump file to SE support separately.

Any progress on this issue?

Is it the same crash I reported for Linux in 21.0.0.12?

We'll check with Dev to see where we are on this.

Just got another crash. Is it same as last one? Is root cause known?

New crashdump can be downloaded from my google drive here:

What exactly were you in the middle of doing when this one happened?

I don't recall exactly. I think I pressed "Ctrl+." to find the definition of something.

I had a 2nd crash today where I did not even hit "Ctrl+.", I was using arrow keys to navigate the same file that crashed before.

After 2nd crash, I retagged my workspace. Has not crashed again, but I haven't used it much though.

I checked out this crash dump, it looks like it is the same as a problem we have already fixed for 21.0.1.
