I am able to get this very valuable functionality by using some private macros of my own (unfortunately I can't share them) that interface SlickEdit to the cquery code analysis tool which uses clang to index the code. I talk about it more in this thread: https://community.slickedit.com/index.php/topic,16412.msg63571.html#msg63571

It would be a great future feature if SlickEdit could give hooks to interface with Language Server protocol based code indexers like cquery.

And/or if SlickEdit could show only the correct overload as your original request, that would be really nice too. However I suspect that could be a very expensive operation in SlickEdit.

Is it currently possible, or would it be possible to be able to do a reference search in C, C++, or C# that chooses the referenced overloaded function?

If I have 2 or more overloaded functions I have to choose which function I want to reference when I have clicked on the specific function for which I would like to search.

Why must SlickEdit show me all functions?
