Selection blocks are not visible when the text is already highlighted by LiveDiff.
See attached.
In this case it is no big deal, but when only selecting part of the livediff line it is a real problem as you cannot tell what is selected.

That's pretty old.  Can you try RC1?  Since you're a customer it should be available in your items in the webstore.

SlickEdit® / History Diff not showing any actual diffs
« Last post by timur on October 05, 2022, 04:43:00 pm »
I'm using the history diff feature for the first time (v23 on Linux) and although the dialog box comes up and it does show the history of commits (I'm using Perforce), when I click on "Next Diff" I get a pop up that says "No more differences".  The files in the left and right panels are always identical.

Also, the filename/function drop-down dialog box does causes the left/right source windows to switch to the new item, but again, both sides show the same code regardless.

The online help isn't helpful because it brings up the help page for "Backup History", which is a completely different feature.

More Stuff...
In "Ease of Access -> Text Cursor" settings in Windows you can also customize the text insertion point.

Looks like Edit controls in Slickedit support these features, but the main editor windows do not.

Curiously, the Edit box in community.slickedit.com supports "Text cursor Indicator", but not cursor thickness. Also, it doesn't always work.

The Address bar in Edge is the same, while the address bar in chrome supports neither.

As always, thanks for the nicely packed test case. Makes it very quick to see what's going on.

The file lfpp/lfpp_demo.cpp is missing from your project. After I add it, everything works fine.

Look for missingref-221003.tgz on support.

Follow instructions in the README file.
