I've put some debug code in where this gets set, so if it changes I'll see.

SlickEdit® / vsdiff remembers its screen position too well
« Last post by ebbe on June 06, 2022, 04:47:48 pm »
Hi
My normal setup is a Windows laptop with an extra screen attached. I normally use that screen for my work including viewing file differences and vsdiff remembers that this is screen that I use so all is good.

However, if I detach that screen, vsdiff (haven't checked vsmerge) still goes to where it "knows" it shall be displayed, which means that I then have to hover over the icon, right click, select Move and then use the arrow keys to bring vsdiff into view.

Try Ctrl+Backslash (the plusminus command).  There are also outlining options in Document > XML Options... > View

Messed up on truncation. Try this Qt5 installer of 26.0.2:

http://support.slickedit.com/outbound/2602/se_26000201_linux64qt5-2022-06-05.tar.gz

This installer has more truncation.

SlickEdit® / Re: Font Size In Split Windows Not Consistent
« Last post by kafolske on June 05, 2022, 08:53:06 am »
Once you split the window, that's a separate view of the file, so if you zoom in or out, it only effects that window.  This is by design.

That is a true statement, however, when I create a new window from a window that has not been zoomed in or out, I should get another window that is also not zoomed in or out.   The behavior that I am seeing is that the new window appears to be zoomed out.

Reproduced. We will look into this.

After firing it up and doing a few builds it crashed during a next build.

Look for crash_2022_06.tar.xz on support for the core dump file and user.cfg.xml
