Title: Win7x64 RC5: refilter/refilter wildcards
Post by: TKasparek on November 13, 2014, 01:01:10 AM
I can't seem to find any help on the refilter and refilter wildcard options when right clicking my project in the project tree. Searching the help files for refilter returns zero results.

I'm using wildcards in a project and auto folder set to custom. When the refilter wildcard is not set, SlickEdit nicely gives me the entire directory structure filtered into my specified folder filters. (Super awesome btw!) But it doesn't seem to update with new/changed files automatically. When I set the refilter wildcard option, I get the update automatically but the directory structure goes away. What am I missing?

I just fixed a bug which probably fixes this also. Attached is a new projconv.e. This fix is specifically for v19.0.0.14 which I think corresponds to RC5. Download and load it (Macro>Load Module...).

I've tried your new file but it still produces the same result.

Some more information on my setup:
I have auto folder set to Custom View and I've added a few folders for filtering out specific file types.
When right clicking on my project file in Projects, activating Refilter Wildcard ask about reorganizing, if I click Yes to continue and the directory structure under my folder filters disappears. deactivate Refilter Wildcard and the directory structure is back after clicking Yes to continue.

Another note: Clicking No on the refiltering warning causes SE to not refilter but still changes the activated state of the Refilter Wildcard in the project right-click menu.

Hmm...this worked for me with the fix. I had problems before. If you post a small sample workspace and project. I'll check it out.
