Title: Open VS2010 solution via SlickEdit cmd line
Post by: Wanderer on July 16, 2010, 06:07:49 pm
SlickEdit Version 15.0.0.6    Build Date: May 07, 2010
Emulation: Vim
OS: Windows 7   OS Version: 6.01.7600
Hotfixes:
C:\Users\Charles\Documents\My SlickEdit Config\15.0.0\hotfixes\hotfix_se1500_2_cumulative.zip (Revision: 2)
C:\Users\Charles\Documents\My SlickEdit Config\15.0.0\hotfixes\hotfix_se1500_7_cumulative.zip (Revision: 7)
C:\Users\Charles\Documents\My SlickEdit Config\15.0.0\hotfixes\hotfix_se1500_8_cumulative.zip (Revision: 8)

I would like to open a VS2010 solution via SlickEdit's command line, whether or not a corresponding .vpw file exists.
When I try
    vs.exe someSln.sln
SlickEdit opens the file as a text file.
Is there a switch to tell SlickEdit that the .sln should be treated as a project file?
Perhaps there is a macro I can run from the command line that would open the .sln file as a workspace?

Thanks for any tips...

There is a SlickEdit macro you can run from the command line.  Try

workspace_open_visualstudio someSln.sln

Just what I was looking for, thanks.
In VS2010:
"-#workspace_open_visualstudio $(SolutionDir)\$(SolutionFileName)"
