Title: Bizarre menu behavior caused by QT in path

When I select any menu option my entire screen goes white and then menu options appear in the top left as I move my mouse. It's like the menu drop-down frame has disappeared and the menu becomes full screen. Also when I open the Find dialog I have no window frame. However this does not go full frame but just floats. In addition the entire dialog is grey and there is no distinction between labels and user inputs.

I do QT development and tried taking QT 4.8.6 out of my path thinking there might be a conflict which solved the problem. Posting here in case anyone else runs into a similar issue.

Which platform and what version of SlickEdit?
