Title: GenComment and Slickedit 14
Post by: RichardRutledge on February 23, 2010, 04:20:58 PM
Anyone had success in using Gary Ash's latest GenComment macro package with SlickEdit 14.0.2.2?
%parameters expansion in the function comment is causing a slick-c parameter error in the latest version.

I have rolled back to a prior verion (file dated 18 July 2007) that seems to work fine.

Hi,
I'm using it. What language are you using? can you send me a sample of code and your settings?

I'm using cpp. Attached you will find a hello world cpp file, my GenComment.ini file, and a screen shot of the SE stack showing the invalid argument. The file header inserted properly, but when I placed the cursor on _tmain and invoked gc-edit, error occurs.

Working!

I can't thank you enough for your generous contribution of time and talent to maintain/enhance your comment package.
