Title: Feature to silence "Failed to open" errors when doing Workspace Find in Files
Post by: Zoid on March 24, 2021, 06:10:57 pm
I often use Search/Find in Files with Look In set to Workspace.  Many of the workspaces I use have generated files and these are often not generated until I compile.  This results in a slew of "Failed to open: <filename>" errors in the search output window.  This information clutters up my actual search results.  I would like an option to silence these errors and wish a "Failed to open" is treated just like a failed match in that no output is generated.

I have added a feature request for this.

If the files all have something unique in the name or path, you could put that in Exclude files of course.
