It's been about 12 years since I got my employer to give me a slick upgrade.. happy to be on SlickEdit 2020! Right now, I'm in that porting-macros / transition period as I get back all my default behavior. The first thing I can't figure out:
When I hit Alt+Shft+N on the command line, while in fileman, nothing happens. If I'm in another buffer, and hit that or Alt+N, indeed it does a keyin of the buffer name. But on command line, I can't extract the highlighted name in fileman.

PS. Is there a way to make the status line show outside where the command line is? I was trying to debug this with messageNWait(), but.. since the command-line has focus... can't see if anything's printed there. I might just break down and read the user guide, etc. Been a while, and I'm rusty at debugging macros.

I can reproduce the problem with Alt-Shift-N, we'll take a look and see what's going on.
There isn't a way to move the status line, but you can use say('some message') in place of message/messageNwait, and the output will go to a separate debug window you can scroll through.

This will be fixed in 25.0.2. This is not hot fixable. 25.0.2 will be out sometime this month.
