Title: Listing Command Line History
Post by: kenkahn on February 01, 2007, 02:47:03 PM
Is there a built-in command or available macro that will list out the command line history, allowing selection of an entry?  There used to be one in the macro download section (many years ago) but I don't see it any longer.  I often enter some elaborate replace commands; I can recall them one at a time using the arrow keys, but it would make life easier if I could list all previous commands and select the one I need.

A while ago I've written macro support for that...
Just load the attached module and use ListCommands on cmdline or bind it to a key ...

Have fun,

If possible, I'd like to copy some of the commands between SE's running on different systems.  Where is the command history kept?  I couldn't find it anywhere.

It's stored in <slick config dir>\vrestore.slk.

Great thread, and the command history location needs to be documented. Duly noted.
