Title: How do I stop a long/big Find (Search) or Replace?
Post by: SlickEdit Support on July 24, 2014, 04:41:02 PM
To stop a Foreground Search or Replace operation (if you have checked the Foreground search checkbox) you can press the Esc key to cancel the operation.

To stop a background Find or Find and Replace operation bring up the Find and Replace dialog and press the "Stop" button on the Find (and Replace) dialog.
