Title: B6, Windows: No space before parenthesis
Post by: jorick on October 16, 2014, 01:42:31 pm
I have my formatting set up so that there's a space between the function name and the parenthesis (Options->Languages->Application Languages->C/C++->Formatting->Spacing->Declarations->Functions/Methods->Before opening parenthesis).  But SE wants to eliminate this space whenever it deals with functions, such as when it shows the argument list to fill in.

Yes, our per-language code generation needs to consolidated and updated to take advantage of the newer formatting features.

I can't address the full problem for v19, but if you let me know what the most annoying instances are for you, I can see if I can at least patch them.

This might not be a bug.  I just noticed that the ; typed after the function restores correct formatting.

(And all this time I was adding the space before putting in the ;.  Sheesh!)
