Title: Search results && document windows
Post by: jporkkahtc on January 11, 2019, 07:44:16 pm
It would be nice to pin search results tabs to document tabs.

Well maybe something like a split-view in a document tab, where the bottom half is search results.

I often do FiF, and sometimes I want to have two document tabs side-by-side, and step thru two separate FiF results at the same time -- pinning the search results to a document tab would be perfect for this.

find-next: Currently slick as the concept of a current search used in commands like find-next.
I can manually switch between search contexts by double-clicking a result in a search result tab.

With pinned search results, the current search context for find-next/find-prev would apply to the search that is pinned to the current tab.
