Title: beautify all files found in a folder... and exit
Post by: storkinsj on January 29, 2019, 11:39:31 am
This started out as a question actually, but as often is the case... I talked myself through the solution LOL. So I'm just going to post it here for your enjoyment. I did this on Mac but it should work find on Linux too.

If you are on windows there is probably a good powershell way to enumerate but you can also just use git-bash and my command verbatim.
If you set your coding standards in Slickedit first you can quickly take an entire coding project and convert it to standards.

    find . -type f -exec vs -fn {} -#"beautify quiet=true" -#save -#fexit \;

(if someone tries to do this in the middle of a sprint you did NOT hear this from me!)
