RC5, Mac, Vsdiff window dragging tag alongs
« on: November 11, 2014, 07:41:26 pm »

From a terminal run "vsdiff dir1/ dir2/" In the diff window, double click a different file to get the side-by-side. Fear closing the window since this will close the entire diff session.

Drag the window a little to expose the tree-view window. Open a 2nd Diff window, and also drag it out of the way.

Now, drag the TreeView window. All three windows move as one.

Dragging a Diff window only moves the diff window itself.Dragging the treeview window drags itself plus any diff windows.

This appears to be a Mac window manager specific thing. That is, when a window's owner is moved, the child is moved as well. I've never seen this with any other window manager.

This issue will likely go away when we fix the closing problem because you won't even be able to click and drag the tree view until you've close the diff window.
