Phantom selection in Files tool, Project tab

1 Open an undock the Files tool.
2 Select the Project tab.
3 Select some file in the list.
4 Project->SetActiveProject -> Some Other Project.
5 Select a file in the Files:Project tab.
Bug: At least 50% of the time when I do this, I end up with what appears like 2 selected files, the one I clicked on and some other file.

No luck so far. Switched and selected a different project file tons of times. Your steps seem simple enough.
