Display corruption (27.0.2.0 patch 5)
« on: June 13, 2023, 02:14:59 PM »
Hi All,
Recently I have started experiencing display corruption, as per the attached image. I mix working home/office, using the same laptop (Dell, Windows 10) in both locations, but different monitors (two in both locations). This is a new phenomenon, started about, say, a month ago.

Checked for driver update on both disaply adaptor and monitors, and apparently drivers are upto date.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Thought I had better add: I have now seen this on other applications - Adobe Acrobat did something similar where the scroll bars became blacked out.

You may want to try the Dark theme as a workaround for SlickEdit (Tools > Options... > Appearance > General).

Also, maybe a recent Windows update defaulted you to the Windows Dark theme and it is behaving badly with some apps (trying to take over where it should not).

Are either of these using remote desktop?

Thanks for those responses. No, I am not using remote desktop.

Interestingly, I have had a load of updates since I originally posted, and I have not noticed any display corruption since. Just as the problem mysteriously appeared, maybe it has now mysteriously disappeared!
